Until then, if anyone wants a great Qt-based browser, Qupzilla is totally my recommendation. Until then I'll just say that everything is poking along slow-and-steady. News will be posted when there's something (somewhat) interesting to show, but I'm going to avoid over-hyping it further. It will be a long time before there's any sort of general release, and you won't be hearing much more news for a while the initial posts created too much hype too early, something I sincerely regret.
QUPZILLA BROWSERR REVIEW FULL
When programming it's best to keep things simple and add as you need to avoid complication instead the early code was just overcomplicated, full of dead weight features which held progress back. The other focus is cleaning and rewriting code. The MultiTool concept works very well in practice and I consider it a genuinely useful innovation which I'll be happy to use daily. Right now development is focused on the 'MultiTool' contextual search/address bar and the application menu - the two hardcoded UI elements. CEF is being put on the backburner it complicated development significantly and was stalling the whole project. It's been moved to WebEngine as Qt 5.6 brought enough features to develop against for the immediate future. With the exception of LibreOffice, the distribution features alternatives for most other applications, such as Qupzilla browser and Trojita email client. At the moment 'Fiber' is split into a few different prototypes of individual systems there's no single source yet. Fiber development has been on-again off-again because of time constraints.
